I bought a pair of size 5 which were too big so I returned them and ordered a pair sized 4.5. I am usually a size 5. The size 4.5 seemed to fit when I tried them on but I put a pair of insoles in for super safety (I was going to a wedding). However I only managed to wear them from house to car and into house again. I knew I would never be able to wear them at a wedding. Fortunately I took another pair of shoes with me. I would have tried to return them but I didn’t think that would be possible as I’d walked in gravel in them, albeit for a few seconds. I think it’s the design of the shoe. It would be impossible to go down a size. It’s the heel area that is the problem.
